MAKESHIFT
HELLO SPOTIFY, MY EMAIL IS AGRAY82@GMAIL.COM AND I OWN THIS PAGE / BAND / PROFILE. THX!
Makeshift (2003–2010) was born out of the explosive Anchorage, Alaska alternative scene of the 2000s. In an era of burned CDs, physical flyers, and MySpace "Top 8" friends, Makeshift stood out as one of Alaska’s most creative and energetic DIY, self-made acts.
Known for their frenetic live shows and relentless crowd engagement, they were a driving force in cultivating the local music culture. Whether they were sharing the stage with fellow Alaska favorites like The Lost Concept, Thera, and Static Cycle, or opening for national heavyweights like Godsmack and 36 Crazyfists, Makeshift brought a high-energy intensity that defined the North's heavy rock circuit.
The MySpace servers may be gone, but the music remains. After years of being found only on scratched discs in gloveboxes, the band's catalog is finally available on all streaming platforms.
Welcome to the future.
